Penrith Panthers coach Ivan Cleary has provided insight into how his squad is preparing for the upcoming NRL campaign ahead.

Last years Grand Final winners are looking ahead to this year and Ivan told Bill Woods he is hoping last years courage “shows itself this year”.

With some departures from the Panthers, Ivan said, “It’s sad to see guys go”.

“Can’t keep them all, but definitely a challenge…no doubt about that.”
