NSW Transport Minister David Elliott has denied reports commuters will have discounted train tickets after last week’s shutdown.

Sydney’s weekday train timetable is returning back to normal today after a week of disrupted services.

There were reports trips on all Sydney trains will be half-price during peak hour and completely free on the weekend for one month.

Minister Elliott told Ben Fordham it’s being discussed as an option but a decision has not been made.

“It’s certainly an option … but no formal decision.”
