How Port Botany protestors ‘choked’ the freight supply chain
The German nationals arrested over the disruption at Port Botany this week are about to be put on a plane and deported from the country but their actions have cost the freight industry millions.
CEO of Road Freight NSW Simon O’Hara told Jim Wilson the action by the protestors has affected supply chain productivity.
“The freights couldn’t get in to pick up or drop containers.
“This wasn’t the way to go about doing it.”
