Endeavour Sports High School teacher Billy Tsikrikas made his NRL debut last week against the Broncos.

Due to a variety of stars out with COVID, it opened the door for Billy to join the first team.

Billy told Mark Levy and Brad Fittler the kids’ reaction since last week has been “a bit different” compared to the usual day.

“The kids usually say I will run over you sir, but today they were saying Payne Haas run over you!”

After an impressive performance, he is waiting to see if he will get the call up for next week.

“We will see what happens!”
