‘I wouldn’t trust them’: Chris Minns slams plans for distance-based tolling
NSW Labor leader Chris Minns has hit back at the NSW Premier’s plans for distance-based tolling.
Dominic Perrottet doubled down on his support for a distance-based tolling system yesterday on Drive ordering his Treasury department to negotiate with toll operators.
Mr Minns told Jim Wilson the idea is “crazy”.
“People on the Central Coast and in Western Sydney will have to pay far more than those living in the Eastern suburbs, the Lower North Shore, and the Inner West,” he said.
“Why would you trust the NSW government when it comes to tolls?”
Jim Wilson and Chris Minns also spoke about:
- Today’s teachers’ strike
- Pay rises
- Budget
