Labor team caught passing notes to Albanese mid-press conference
The Opposition Leader has been caught being passed notes on Labor’s NDIS policy at his press conference.
Nine News political reporter Jonathan Kearsley can be heard asking Anthony Albanese to outline a six-point NDIS policy.
Midway through the exchange, Mr Albanese can be seen receiving and leafing through a policy dossier.
The blunder follows Mr Albanese’s early campaign trail stumble where he could not name the unemployment or cash rates.
Defence Minister Peter Dutton said it’s worrying Labor’s leader can’t recall party policies.
RAY: “It’s a bit like doing the HSC and being allowed to take in all your study notes in order to pass the exam.
PETER: “I presume before long he’ll be turning up with no jacket on and maybe short-sleeved shirts.
“That’ll be a true indication because he’ll have notes written up and down his arm, which he’ll be discreetly referring to during the press conference.
“This is a serious issue.”
