The campaign to remove a dangerous cycleway in Sydney’s inner-west continues after another accident on the road.

Residents have been calling for the cycleway on Bridge Road in Glebe to be removed over safety concerns.

Yesterday morning a cyclist was hit by a car while using the cycleway.

Resident Di Anstey has been leading a campaign to have the cycleway removed and told Ben Fordham the cyclist was out of the way of sight.

“I’ve had many near-misses myself as have many other members of Bridge Road.”
