Opposition leader Anthony Albanese has claimed in an ABC interview that Australia’s borders are closed. 

In an interview on ABC News Breakfast this morning, Mr Albanese claimed the closed border was helping to keep unemployment down to four per cent.

But since the international border opened in November last year over 920,000 foreigners have arrived in Australia – and it remains open to this day.

“They are well and truly open, Albo,” Ben said.
