It looks like the La Nina weather system may persist throughout the winter months of 2022.

John Stanley checks in with Northern NSW residents to see how the town’s revival is going after being hit with horrific floods.

John talks to Lismore Councillor Big Rob to ask if people are still seeking temporary accommodation.

Big Rob stresses that Lismore CBD still does not have all its power back on, and there are still many homes that are still inhabitable.

“We are a flooded town, we know how to deal with floods, we just need to build better… for those that want to stay we have to make their lives easier,” says Big Rob.
