Referee named for the NRL State of Origin Game 1

Ashley Klein has been confirmed as the referee of the State of Origin Game 1.
It is his ninth State of Origin encounter.
Klein, State of Origin Game 1 referee, joined WWOS to discuss the appointment.
“I am really excited about next Wednesday night and doing the first one on my own,” he said.
