Staff shortages are killing the hospitality sector

John Stanley

Many industries have struggled over the past two years, but one sector that has been hit particularly hard and are still struggling with the consequences of the pandemic and closed borders is the hospitality industry.

Owners and managers of pubs, restaurants and hotels across Australia are screaming out for staff.

John Stanley talks to former Federal Minister and Executive of Laundy Hotels pub group, Craig Laundy.

Craig highlights how the new Labor government needs to ensure they have a campaign in place to target skilled migration and provide workers with incentives to come work in Australia to help with the labour shortage.
