Ben Fordham slams Art Gallery boss billing taxpayers for long lunches
Art Gallery of NSW Director Michael Brand has billed taxpayers thousands of dollars for meals at Sydney’s finest restaurants.
The Daily Telegraph has revealed the public servant, who is on a salary of about $450,000 per year, spent $1180 at Otto in Woolloomooloo, $1033 at Firedoor in Surry Hills and $779 at Franca Brasserie in Potts Point.
“The Premier wouldn’t get away with this, so why would the boss of the Art Gallery?” Ben Fordham said.
“We’re not alleging that Michael Brand has acted outside the rules.
“I’m suggesting the rules need to change.”
