The Senator says “It’s our gas and its reasonable that we would benefit from its export. But that’s not the case.”

“Australia makes more gas than you can poke a stick at … the problem we actually have is that most of that gas is exported.”

“As a result manufacturers are facing closure and everyday Aussies are feeling the rising cost of electricity, gas and the adverse effect both are having on inflation.”
