How underground WWII train tunnels could be a major tourism drawcard
Minister for Customers Service and Digital Government Victor Dominello believes underground WWII train tunnels could be valuable tourist attractions for Sydney.
Minister Dominello entered the Elizabeth Street entrance at St James station and discovered an underground WWII train tunnel.
Mr Dominello told Deborah Knight there is potential to use the tunnels as a tourist drawcard.
“This would be another great experience in what is a jewel in the ground,” he said.
