Former Liberal minister John Sidoti has spoken out after Drummoyne residents received robocalls targeting him.

The former sports minister is waiting on ICAC’s findings after he was accused of influencing the outcome of a local council decision at Five Dock to benefit his parents.

Mr Sidoti denies the accusations.

He was stood down in September 2019.

The survey asks questions like: would you vote for John Sidoti as an Independent? Is it likely you’d consider voting for anyone under ICAC investigation? (Hear the full call below)

Mr Sidoti told Ben Fordham Live he doesn’t know who’s behind the calls.

“The questions asked aren’t really looking for an answer … it looks more like someone trying to destroy me.

“Everybody is commenting that I’m guilty by the public and I can’t even make a comment.”
