Will insurance premiums go up due to floods?

Insurance companies are encouraging their customers in flood-affected areas to get in touch with them as several LGA’s were announced as Natural Disaster areas today.

However, it can become a very worrying time for people that are affected by the floods. Many of us stress whether we have the correct documents and how we go about making a claim.

Clinton Maynard speaks to insurance council chief executive Andrew Hall who says the immediate concern is organising enough temporary accommodation for flood victims.
