Billy Slater has joined Mike Pearsall on WWOS to discuss the possibility that Tom Trbojevic will return to the Sea Eagles before the end of the season.

“Firstly it’s great news, it means that the recovery is going well for Tom,” he said.

“I was quite shocked to hear that he was possibly going to come back this year.”

Billy also commented on the report that he and Brad Fittler walk away from positions as Kangaroo selectors.

“I’ve never been offered the position and to be honest, I’ve got enough on my plate,” he said.

“Walking away is certainly is sort of not true, it was never mine anyway.”
