David Mead calls an end to his decorated career
David Mead is a beloved player in Rugby League.
Having played for the Broncos, Titans, Catalans Dragons, and captained Papua New Guinea, his longevity in the game is a testament to his dedication.
14 years and 171 NRL games on from his debut, Mead has called his retirement, effective immediately.
“To be honest I love playing the game, but I just don’t love it as much as I used to,” said Mead.
