2GB Drive has managed to help a Penrith couple stay in business after a long-running dispute with the state government.

Owners and operators of the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler Chris and Carol Bennett have had safety issues resolved at a temporary wharf on the Nepean that threatened to shut down their business.

The Bennetts had serious concerns the temporary wharf just wasn’t up to scratch and they feared passengers’ safety and welfare would be at risk.

The Nepean Belle can now operate now from the temporary wharf as the original jetty at Tench Reserve is rebuilt due to Drive’s involvement.

Chris and Carole Bennett called Jim to say thank you.

“You’ve been in contact with me constantly I can’t thank you enough.”
