Why there is a massive push to have a special golf course heritage listed
Discussions have been raised to have one of the oldest golf courses in NSW heritage listed.
A golf enthusiast stumbled across the overgrown golf course in Kameruka earlier this year and rallied other golf industry professionals to try and preserve it.
President of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects Harley Kruse told Deborah Knight the land was hand-built completely independently of those with the ideas and skills that had been forming the golf holes.
The course has still remained intact from when it was originally built.
