Ben Fordham is calling on the Warragamba Dam wall to be raised ahead of the release of a major report on the recent floods.

It’s expected to highlight some of the biggest flaws in our response.

According to The Australian, the report discusses the benefits of raising the wall of the Warragamba Dam by 14 metres.

The raising of the wall has been discussed in NSW since the 1990s.

“The project remains in limbo, weighed down by red tape,” Ben said.

“The cost has blown out from $690 million to at least $2 billion!

“The financial cost will be huge, but the cost of not acting will be even greater.”
