A NSW MP wants there to be a “sense of urgency” around the government’s response to the report on recent floods.

The NSW government has said it will accept all the recommendations of the long-awaited report.

NSW Labor Member for Lismore Janelle Saffin told Mark Levy locals experienced the downfalls of the SES and Resilience NSW.

She says the government now needs to “get cracking” on land buybacks and help those who want to stay.

“We need this stuff to happen sooner than later.”
