WATCH | Dramatic police operation at Condell Park
Deborah Knight has shared the news of major police activity in Sydney’s south west.
Two people have been arrested following the operation in Condell Park.
Just after 11am, police were called to a home on Yanderra Street, to speak with a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
A man and a woman were arrested and released a short time later.
Another woman was treated by paramedics as a precaution and is now assisting police with inquiries.
Another man, who was inside the home, refused to leave the house. A parameter was established, with additional resources from the Tactical Operations Unit, Police Negotiators and Public Order and Riot Squad. All buses on route 925 were also diverted away from Condell Park.

At around 2pm, a dog from the Dog Unit and its handler found the 26 year old man hiding in the roof of the home. He was arrested and inquiries continue.
