Rare sightings as whale watching season continues

Whale watching gives you an incredible into the life of some of the most majestic animals on the planet.

The Humpback Whale is making its way along the NSW South Coast with scientists and avid fans watching as they make their long journey.

But, alongside the Humpback there have been sightings of the more reclusive species of the Bryde’s whales.

Wildlife scientist Dr Vanessa Pirotta joins John to share what these sightings mean for scientists and why the Bryde species is so shy to our shores.
