American country music singer Brad Paisley has revealed the hilarious reason he took up singing. 

Brad Paisley has earned his place in country music history as one of the genre’s most talented and decorated male solo artists by winning numerous awards, including three Grammys.

Initially being a brilliant guitarist, the country singer told Ray Hadley he started singing because his local small-town church needed someone for a day.

“I started as a guitar player, [I] only sang because they needed someone too,” he said.

“So I did it, people clapped, and here I am years later!”
