Jim Wilson has slammed Deputy Premier Paul Toole for his “cringeworthy” ad promoting his love for cars.

The clip features the Deputy Premier driving his electorate Kia Stinger, complete with a heavy rock soundtrack and slowed shots of him exiting the vehicle.

The video has caused a quite stir in NSW parliament with MPs privately and publicly mocking the production.

“What is it with some politicians and their poor timing and seriously do they not sniff the breeze!?” Jim said.

“No wonder the public is disillusioned with some of our politicians, talk about not reading the room and being out of touch with reality.”
