Rules allowing universities to offer early entry to Year 12 students before they sit their HSC exams will be changed.

Tens of thousands of university placement offers have already been made this year, ahead of exams starting tomorrow.

Education Minister Sarah Mitchell has signalled even further policy changes stipulating how early offers were made amid concerns children a slacking off.
