Australia’s cool-headed Grace Kim will join the LPGA Tour in 2023 after confirming her promotion in Florida yesterday.

The cool-headed Sydneysider says she was “eating popcorn” and enjoying the show as she watched the tense Epson Tour, having missed the cut herself.

Thankfully, she’d done enough to end the year in fifth position on the Ascensus Race to the Card standings.

At just 21 years old, Kim has had a meteoric rise to the professional game, having started at a 36 handicap just 10 years ago.

Ray Hadley: “So how long did it take you to get down to single figures, let alone scratch?”

Grace Kim: “I think it took me less than a year, to be honest.

Ray Hadley: [Laughs] “Oh, stop it, stop it!”

Grace Kim: “Yeah, I think- no, no, sorry, I didn’t mean to brag, but like-”

Ray Hadley: “No, brag all you like, Grace, brag all you like! It’s phenomenal!”
