Electric vehicle owners ask neighbours to ration their power
Residents of a Melbourne suburb are being asked to ration their electricity so that electric vehicle owners can charge their cars.
According to the Daily Mail, locals in a street in Brighton were asked in a flyer to ration their power for the four electric car owners in the neighbourhood.
Federal Labor believes 89 per cent of all new cars in Australia will be electric by 2030.
“It’s not going to happen,” Ben Fordham said.
