Australia play their Rugby League World Cup opener against Fiji this weekend.

Patrick Carrigan has been selected in Mal Meninga’s Australian Kangaroos World Cup squad after a standout season for the Broncos and Maroons.

Kangaroos forward Patrick Carrigan told Mark Levy he’s excited to represent his country.

“I have to pinch myself sometimes. I’m stoked to be over here to play some footy.”
