South Sydney half-back Lachlan Ilias will be the star attraction in Greece’s Rugby League World Cup squad.

The team features eight domestic players and 16 from Australia.

Lachlan Ilias told Mark Levy it was an emotional experience to represent his country.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the boys’ efforts to get to this tournament.

“It’s exciting to see how far Greece can go in international rugby league”
