Warning for regional electric vehicle owners amid charging promise
There are warnings regional drivers will still struggle to charge their electric vehicles, despite a government plan for more chargers.
The NSW government is set to build 500 chargers across the state over the next 2 years.
The chargers will be installed at 86 locations across Sydney and regional NSW.
CarAdvice Managing Editor Trent Nikolic told Ben Fordham, currently, electric vehicles are more suited to city driving.
“Anywhere out of the city is pretty difficult to charge them and, I think, even if they roll out a lot of electric chargers I think it’s going to continue to be difficult.”
