Greyhound trainer speaks out on ‘chaotic’ meeting at Richmond Club
A registered greyhound trainer has given his side of the story after a high-tension meeting at the Richmond Greyhound Club.
Michael Hooper and Secretary Manager Leanne Barnes had a verbal confrontation after arguments over voting processes at the AGM.
Mr Hooper, who has been in the industry for over 30 years, told Ray Hadley tensions were high during the night.
“The meeting had been quite chaotic and an argument broke out.
“It was a pub blue on a Friday night, without any fisty cuffs or profanity dealt either.”
