Ambitious goal to cut cattle methane

Queensland scientists are hoping to reduce methane emissions in Australia’s beef industry by up to 30 percent.

Four projects are being worked on, in a bid to further the red meat sector’s goal of being carbon-neutral by 2030.

Rural Reporter Rhiannon Soliman-Marron caught up with University of Queensland Centre of Animal Science Director Ben Hayes to learn more.
