NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has appointed the former boss of Snowy Hydro Paul Broad as a Special Advisor on Energy in NSW. 

Gas prices in NSW are rising exponentially, as questions swirl around the future of gas projects in the state.

The Premier told Ben Fordham Mr Broad will start in his office today.

“I want the best and brightest minds giving me advice.”

Ben Fordham: “Geez that’s a huge slap in the face to your Energy Minister Matt Kean.”

Dominic Perrottet: “Well, well, I wouldn’t see it that way, Ben.”
