Emotional Eugowra resident explains why he confronted NSW premier
A resident of the Central West town of Eugowra has confronted the Premier, telling him the response to the flood hasn’t been good enough.
Dominic Perrottet has toured the town where more than 100 residents were winched to safety from roof tops.
Local Peter Jones, who served as a policeman for 33 years, explained to Joe Hillebrand the reason why he was so frustrated with the Premier.
“I told him we had absolutely no communications, we had to borrow phones to ring emergency services.
“We have been on our own without any help.”
