Sydneysiders will soon be able to dob in cab drivers who refuse to turn on the meter around the clock.

Ben Fordham Live listeners, including beloved TV identity Scotty Cam, have hit out at cab drivers who refuse to turn on the meter and demand a set fare instead.

Point to Point Transport Commissioner Anthony Wing told Ben Fordham a hotline will be launched on Monday.

“That will allow people to call in 24/7.”
