NSW Labor leader slams ‘outrageous’ use of Campbelltown Hospital
A Western Sydney hospital has offered up its vacant wards to production studios to make TV shows and movies.
According to The Daily Telegraph, a proposed tender has been lodged by the South Western Sydney Local Health District, offering up “unused wards” at Campbelltown Hospital to be used as a location for production companies to carry out filming.
But in April to June only 42% of the most urgent emergency department patients at Campbelltown Hospital had their treatment started on time.
Opposition leader Chris Minns told Mark Levy the hospital needs to focus on its patients.
“It’s just outrageous.”
