Senator Bridget McKenzie has slammed the government for slashing money from the black spot program.

Roughly $69 million for fixing black spots on roads has now been taken out of the budget by the Albanese government despite rising fatalities in accident numbers.

Ms McKenzie told Mark Levy “the decision makes no sense”.

“They have skewed priorities.”
