Australian Conductor Simone Young spoke with Deborah Knight about her documentary ‘Knowing The Score’, and Cate Blanchett’s performance in the movie ‘Tar’.

With the community’s growing interest in knowing what an Orchestra Conductor does, Simone talks about how her documentary tries to give insight into the art of music.

“There are weeks, months and years of study and preparation that go into layering a performance.”

Simone also talked about Cate Blanchett’s “incredible performance” on ‘Tar’ and how it has brought a very well-deserved accolade.
