‘The fans won’t cop it’: NRL players threatening strikes
Ben Fordham has weighed in on NRL players threatening strikes.
Players are threatening to delay the kick-off time in pre-season matches this weekend, cover NRL logos on jerseys, and refuse media requests to promote the game.
“The Players Association, led by former NRL star Clint Newton is acting like a rogue union.
“Clint Newton is a good bloke, but he needs a reality check, stop dudding the fans and the broadcasters who pay billions. Take the money that’s on the table and get the players on the field!”
