Cattle station workers making use of new skills

WA cattle producers dealing with livestock losses, the threat of disease and food supply issues in the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Ellie, are putting newly found skills to the test.

Indigenous charity Saltwater Country spent time in the remote Kimberly, running a pilot development program, before the area was hit with record rain.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with founder Cara Peek to hear more about the course and how it provided workers with skills they needed to find resilience among disaster.
