Josh Piterman takes on lead role in Les Misérables the musical
An Australian actor has announced his debut in one of the most iconic musicals after devastating COVID delays.
The actor had starred in the Phantom of the Opera in London, but the show was later cancelled in 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19.
To see what would happen next, he made the decision to return to his home in Australia.
The Phantom of the Opera has been revived since and Piterman is set to play for two more shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Now, thrilling news comes as Josh Piterman has been cast to play the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables.
