Why Australians are working from home for overseas employers

Australians are applying for work-from-home jobs overseas and it seems to be working.

The Future of Work Expert Kim Seeling Smith spoke to Chris O’Keefe on why its ‘works’.

Kim argues that if Aussies are doing their job correctly and “kicking goals”, why should it matter where they live?

The reason Australians are choosing to work from home, in general, is because they want to “spend time” with friends and family.

“If you’re serving the job, doing what you were hired to do, does it really matter where you’re doing it from?”, Kim said.

Although there are challenges, communication between both parties is crucial for a positive experience.
