ICAC Findings: Barilaro cleared, what about Gladys?
NSW ICAC has found no evidence of any corruption in the appointment of the plum gig to New York.
John Barilaro has slipped evidence findings in an appointment to a trade role in New York.
The investigation saw a variety of people called to provide evidence and documents.
Former NSW Supreme Court Judge Anthony Whealy raised an interesting point to Deborah Knight: What about former Premier Gladys Berejiklian?
It’s now been two years since an ICAC investigation opened against the conduct of Ms Berejiklian and there is still yet to be any findings.
“On the face of it, it’s a black mark against ICAC and the Commissioner who has been tasked to carry out the investigation,” Mr Whealy said.
“I have to say that she [Ruth McColl] must take the blame for the immense delay.”
