With people turning to online services, today at Drive two prominent figures discussed whether prescriptions should be regulated.

The President of the Royal Association of General Practitioners Nicole Higgins told Chris that they’re concerned about the safety of people choosing convenience first.

“We can’t trade off safety for convenience, it’s about safety and quality control,” Dr Higgins said.

Eucalyptus Founder Tim Doyle argues that online medical prescription services simplify the process and save time.

“We think convenient can be safe and high quality and that is fundamentally what we’ve delivered to our patients,” Tim Doyle added.
