‘Neglectful’: Labor’s regional costings to ‘shortchange the bush’
The state Agriculture Minister is warning farmers will be shortchanged under a Labor government.
Costings released yesterday suggest the opposition plans to spend a total $10 million on agriculture policies, despite one promised program already carrying a price tag of the same amount.
Agriculture Minister Dugald Saunders told Ray Hadley it’s “embarrassing” and “neglectful”.
“It goes to the point of them not doing any costings and not actually ‘getting’ regional NSW,” he said.
