New research has revealed the cost of living as the single biggest concern for young Australians, with the affordability of housing and rent also causing significant stress. 

Headspace CEO Jason Trethowan says young people should not have to worry about having a place to call home this early in their lives.

“Young people are seeing a big haze in front of them, particularly when it comes to home ownership,” Mr Trethowan told Luke Grant.

“We need to focus on what we are going to do to support the next generation.”
