Former Minister for Homes, Anthony Roberts, called in to Deb’s show on the way to pick his kids up from school, to share his first memory of a mobile phone.

“My late father told me when he left work it was family time, don’t bring home a work phone,” Mr Roberts told Deborah Knight

Mr Roberts is “not saying no” to putting his hand up for Liberal Party leadership, but he’s enjoying spending time at home for now.

“Dropping my kids off at school and making breakfast is priceless,” he said.

“As a Minister you’re usually working all the time, I’m embracing the change.”
