‘Restored my faith’: Joe Hildebrand takes a moment to thank paramedics
The news of a NSW paramedic dying after being fatally stabbed this morning, has led to many people thanking paramedics for the dangerous work that they do.
“Every time I hear and see an ambulance roaring down the road…my faith in humanity is restored,” said Joe Hildebrand.
Joe reflected on the last time he was in the back of an ambulance nine years ago, with his infant son who was injured after an accident at home.
“I was hysterical, my wife called the ambulance and in a few minutes they got there,” he said.
